Introduction and Origin of Sri Lankan Tea

Namely, Ceylon black tea, green tea and white tea. It is also the highest tea-producing region.

Ella

Ella tea plantations is located in the Uva Province, Sri Lanka near the Ella town. Famous for a variety of Ceylon tea known as Uva tea. Kandy

Best Time to Visit


The best time to visit Sri Lanka tea plantations vary depending on the region,

●    December to April is considered the best time to visit Nuwara Eliya and Kandy tea plantations due to less rainfall and clearer skies.

●    June to September is the best time to visit Haputale and Ella areas, as it is less likely for it to have consistent rainfall.
