All About Day One

As we warmly welcome you at the airport, your private vehicle will be ready for you to travel to our first destination in the itinerary- Kandy. Since it will take a couple of hours, you can freely relax and travel comfortably until we reach our first stop.

On our way to Kandy, our first stop will be at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. All locals and tourists have the chance to watch adult elephants and baby elephants in their natural habitat. If you are lucky, you will get the chance to interact with the elephants as well.

After having an incredible time at the Orphanage, our next stop would be the Spice Garden. Sri Lankan cuisine is all about spices. Here you can educate yourself about the ancient processes of spice production in Sri Lanka.

After spending a couple of hours at the Spice Garden, next we will reach the Peradeniya Botanical Garden- a place filled with an abundance of diverse species of plants and trees. This will be our last stop, en route to Kandy.

In Kandy, our first location to stop by is the Gem Museum- a location that offers valuable insights into the rich history of gems in Sri Lanka. Also the museum offers the chance to witness a rare collection of gems in Sri Lanka.

Our tour around Kandy wraps up with an opportunity to enjoy a traditional dance performance at a Kandyan Cultural Dance Show, and this is followed by a visit to an iconic attraction with religious significance- the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Nuwara Eliya, one of the cities with extraordinary landscapes, filled with lush tea plantations. Significantly, the cold climate, makes the city more appealing to both locals and tourists.

Before reaching Nuwara Eliya, we will stop by one of the famous towers, located en route to Nuwara Eliya. Driving up along a curvy path to reach the tower on top of a hill, is indeed another thrilling adventure. This place is a multi cultural center. As you climb to the top, along the stair case that goes around the tower, you will witness a 360 degree panoramic view of the surroundings.

Next stop, before reaching Nuwara Eliya, would be a tea factory. You can enjoy a scenic drive through lush plantations- a green landscape Sri Lanka is proud to own. Once we reach the tea factory, you are offered a rare chance to watch and learn the correct processes of the production of Ceylon tea. Never forget to enjoy the cup of tea offered to you at the tea factory.

After enjoying a couple of hours at the tea factory, we will drive straight to Nuwara Eliya. Our first stop at Nuwara Eliya would be the Seetha Amman Temple- a Hindi temple dedicated to Princess Sita (one of the important characters in Ramayana). It is a colourful temple with a backdrop of rustic mountainous landscapes covered with greenery.

Following the visit to the ancient temple with spectacular architecture, we will start journeying until we reach the Hakgala Botanical Garden- another garden with an abundance of diverse flora and trees. Since the climate here is cool and fresh, you can comfortably enjoy the scenic beauty of this garden.

Before reaching the hotel, the last stop for the day would be at Gregory Park. This is your time to relax, enjoy the serene surroundings, indulge in some water activities or go for a boat ride in the lake. Also the place has plenty of street food stalls for you to enjoy some snacks while relaxing.

As you travel from Nuwara Eliya to Bentota, you might notice that Sri Lanka is home to different cities with diverse climates. If you love being in a cool climate, Nuwara Eliya will be ideal for you. And if you prefer sun-bathing, beach cities such as Bentota will match your choice.

En route to Bentota, we will be stopping by a few locations. First, you will get the chance to participate in a boat ride along the Madhu River. This ride between river banks overgrown with mangroves, will reveal the natural beauty of Sri Lanka.

Day 04

All About Day Four

Before setting off to our next destination, we will be served with a delicious breakfast by the hotel. Once everything is packed we will start traveling to our final city - Colombo.

This time, there are no en route stop by locations. We drive straight to Colombo to our first tourist attraction which is the Gangaramaya Temple. This is a temple with the utmost religious significance to all Sri Lankans. The unique architecture and the history of this temple are what make this place more precious to Sri Lankans.

After we get the blessing from the Gangaramaya Temple, we will keep heading towards the next popular landmark- the Independence Square. Another iconic location that embodies value to all Sri Lankans. The beauty of this place – the recreational park surrounded by manicured lawns is a pleasant sight to experience.

Followed by a couple of hours spent in the park, we will start heading to our next stop as it is time for some shopping in Sri Lanka. We will escort you to one of the popular shopping malls in Colombo. Also as per your request, we will drop you from a local market to get souvenirs for reasonable prices.

Although Sri Lanka is an island surrounded by the ocean, the beach vibes you experience in one city are not similar to that of another city. With that mind, we have opted to give you the chance to experience the beach in Colombo at Galle Face Green. The most exciting factor here is that the place is filled with street food stalls, from which you can binge on some spicy or sweet snacks. This time would be a peaceful time to stay relaxed or enjoy the moment by flying a kite.

Before bidding farewell to our country, the Lotus Tower would be our final attraction. The Lotus Tower is a place of wonders, with so many activities to indulge in. The best is the 360 degree view of the charming city, which you can witness from the observation deck of the tower. As Sri Lankans, we are proud to own the tallest self supported structure in South Asia.

To find more information about this charming city, visit our page 'Interesting and Best Places in Colombo'.

With the final fascinating experience, the Sri Lanka tour comes to an end. Spend your relaxed time on the flight to recollect all the beautiful memories you had in Sri Lanka. Remember to visit us again to experience the rest of this captivating island.
