The average temperatures in the region is about 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. It therefore advisable that you park warm clothing to wear especially in the evenings, because it may become chilly.
From January to February, the temperatures usually range between 18 to 23 degrees Celsius. This is the best time for birdwatching and also you will be able to spot more leopards and other herbivores at the park.
The region is most beautiful from April to end of June as it is mostly lush green. The sceneries are very appealing so you will enjoy stunning views just by looking outside your hotel room.

If you are not in a hurry or want to explore Sri Lanka, the best way to go to Wild Coast is by road. The road network in Sri Lanka is very developed and it the best to use. The rail network is not that well developed and apart from the Kandy to Tea Country journey, we do not advise other train journeys.
Driving through the Sri Lankan roads is another unique experience by itself. You will enjoy the beautiful changing landscapes and breathtaking sceneries along the road.
Some tourism agencies like Arabiers usually arrange for private transport and transfers from the airport to the resort.
